Titanium Forged Ring

Titanium forged ring are a robust addition to titanium tubes and hollow bars. They are formed into a rough shape by heating and then being precisely sized using a lathe. Under typical conditions, titanium tubes have a limited range for rolling and welding, no equivalent tube blank exists to process the ring with a wide outer diameter, and the thick walls make welding more difficult and expensive. For the same reason, hollow bars have large outside diameters and thick walls, which means that cutting them will result in significant material waste in the center and raise the product's price significantly. In contrast,forging is the most effective method. It involves heating a round disc, using a mold to remove the center, and then obtaining a ring. Hollow rod processing differs from forging the center out because it allows for repeated forging use, and hollow rod drilling involves drilling titanium scraps, which must be melted before use.
