TC11 BT9 Titanium Alloy Ingot

TC11 alloy is an α-β type thermal strength titanium alloy with good comprehensive properties. It has excellent thermal strength (high temperature strength, creep resistance, etc.) below 500℃, and has high room temperature strength. The alloy also has good thermal workability (including conventional process properties and superplasticity), and can be welded and machined in various ways. At present, with the continuous expansion of the application of TC11 alloy, the β heat treatment and isothermal forging of the alloy have been rapidly developed.

The alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of compressor discs, blades, drums and other parts of aircraft engines, and can also be used in the manufacture of aircraft structural parts. The maximum long-term working temperature of TC11 alloy obtained by α+β zone thermal deformation and α+β zone heat treatment is 500℃. The semi-finished products are bars, forgings, die forgings and castings.
