TC6 titanium alloy

TC6 titanium alloy is a kind of Martensitic α-β two-phase titanium alloy with good comprehensive properties. Its nominal composition is Ti-6Al-2.5Mo-1.5Cr-0.5Fe-0.3Si, containing α stable element AI, isomorphic β stable element Mo and eutectoid β stable elements Cr, Fe and Si. β stability coefficient Kp=0.6. The use of the alloy is generally annealing state, can also be appropriate strengthening heat treatment. TC6 alloy has higher room temperature strength, 85MPa higher than TC4 alloy, and has good thermal strength properties below 450℃. The alloy also has excellent thermal processing properties, small deformation resistance and high plasticity. It can be welded and machined in various ways.

 

TC6 alloy is mainly used to manufacture parts such as compressor discs and blades of aeroengines, which can work for a long time above 6000h below 400 ° C and below 2000h at 450 ° C. The alloy can also be used as a medium strength alloy to manufacture aircraft frames, joints and other bearing structural parts and fasteners for different purposes. The production of semi-finished products mainly include bars, forgings and die forgings.
